Maths Lessons

I like to work with the child to find out where the gaps are in their learning, and then try and fill in those gaps to give them a clearer vision of the big picture. It's a joy to see the 'penny drop'!

English lessons

Good sentence structure, clear sequencing and correct grammar and punctuation along with legible handwriting, are essential skills that can take longer to develop in some children than others.

Spelling lessons

Spelling doesn't need to be boring! Using a multsensory approach approved by the Helen Arkell centre, I can reinforce phonics, teach spelling rules, help with common exception words and make it stick!

Homework Club

Do you have regular battles with your child in an attempt to get them to complete their homework? Send them to me for an hour and I can support their learning and encourage self discipline.

Home Education

If you have chosen to home educate your child you might feel that they require some structured maths and english lessons. I have a good working knowledge of the national curriculum and can bring them up to age related expectation (or beyond!)
